Some legal scholars are questioning whether President Barack Obama is breaking the law by conducting a military campaign against the Islamic State without authorization from Congress. The 60 day window for the War Powers Act has officially passed, and the administration’s use of the 2001 Authorization to Use Military Force (AUMF) against Al-Qaeda may be unconstitutional, experts are warning.
